At Nancy Lemke's Custom Cakes, there is a long family history in the custom cake profession.
Nancy has over 40 years of pleasing customers with her home made recipes and custom designs.
Back in 1958 Susie Readel (Nancy's Mom) and family purchased The Amherst Bakery in Amherst, WI. When Nancy was just 14 years old her parents bought her a book on cake decorating. Nancy soon became recognized by the community for the wonderful designs she created and thus it became her role at the bakery.
At 15 years old she decided to make her own recipe for butter cream icing. On her first try she created what instantly became her signature Butter Cream Icing. The very same icing she is famous for today.
Nancy married in 1965 and started raising her family while decorating cakes. In 1978 she started making custom wedding cakes part time where she lived in Stevens Point while still working for her families bakery. Her Custom Cake business grew in popularity and became a full time licensed business in Stevens Point with cake requests coming from all over Central WI. Nancy has also tought others how to start and operate there own cake businesses.
Nancy's cakes have recieved many awards and much recognition as "thee" cakes to have for special occassions. But what really keeps Nancy's passion going in the cake business is all the compliments from her customers.
It's Nancy's mission with each cake to bring joy to her customers.
Every cake is made fresh to order and gauranteed to be fresh and delicious.

We have cake delivery and set up available usually with in a 60 mile radius from Stevens Point
When you add our delivery and set up we make sure it looks picture perfect for your event.
When you contact Nancy she does use email, however it's still new technology to her.
Nancy still preferes to use the phone and she loves to talk cake with her customers.
